Do you want more readers to your gaming blog? Do you want to make sure they see your new content right away? Feedburner is one more way to grow your blog subscribers, and get more traffic to your gaming blog. I am currently one of over 70 gaming bloggers contributing their time, and helping new gaming bloggers with the Newbie Blogger Initiative. If you are thinking, or wanting tips from some of the veteran gaming bloggers on starting your own gaming blog than this is the best resource on the internet.
The process is pretty simple to do to burn your feed on Feedburner. Just visit the Feedburner site. It is as simple as entering your URL, and than playing around with some of the settings.
You want to make sure you set up a widget on your gaming blog with the subscribe button to make it easy for people to subscribe to your blog. This is all available directly on the feedburner site, and done automatically by following the simple steps.
One of my favorite settings is the automatic posting to Twitter of my blog posts along with hashtags. It makes it really easy. You can find it under the Social tab.
Basically feedburner puts your information out there for anyone to read, and share. It is a great way to get additional exposure that you wouldn't have received without. Feel free to subscribe to Wasdstomp. If you have any questions, or need help setting it up just let me know.
